Ability Housing Breaks Ground on Village of Pine Hills

As leaders across Central Florida continue to focus on building more rental housing to meet rising demand, 96 new affordable apartment homes will soon be coming to the Pine Hills community in Orlando. Earlier today, representatives from Ability Housing, the City of Orlando, Orange County and other community partners broke ground on Village of Pine Hills, a new-construction apartment development designed to provide quality, affordable housing for local families. The development is located on approximately nine acres at 5121 North Pine Hills Road.

The Ultimate 13th Birthday Present: A Place to Call Home

For most 13-year-olds, birthdays are celebrated with presents, cake, and balloons. For one young girl, her 13th birthday came with something even more meaningful: the keys to a safe, stable home. Earlier this year, Ebony and her daughter became among the first residents to move into Ability Housing's newest apartment community. While Ebony knew they were finally getting the opportunity to move into their new home, her daughter had no idea.
