A Home Is More Than Four Walls and a Roof.
A home is more than four walls and a roof. It is the foundation that makes everything else possible.
For many of our residents, housing comes after months or even years of uncertainty—moving from place to place, staying with friends or family, sleeping in shelters, or facing impossible choices between rent, food, healthcare, and transportation. When residents move into an Ability Housing community, that uncertainty begins to fade.
Residents gain a place where they can lock the door at night, receive mail, build routines, and plan for the future. Children can stay in the same school. Seniors can age with dignity. Individuals managing disabilities or health challenges can focus on their well-being instead of where they will sleep next.
Last year, 96% of residents remained stably housed, demonstrating that when people have an affordable home and access to supportive services, they are able to build the stability needed to move forward with confidence and hope.

At Ability Housing, we see the impact every day. Residents are able to maintain employment, pursue education, improve their health, reconnect with loved ones, and achieve goals that once felt out of reach. Communities benefit as well—with reduced homelessness, stronger neighborhood connections, and greater economic stability.

Last year, 2,006 people found that foundation through Ability Housing. They gained more than an address—they gained the chance to move forward with confidence, connection, and possibility.
