Human Resources Director
The Role
The Human Resources Director is responsible for all agency human resource operations and practices. As a senior executive and team member within the organization, the Human Resources Director oversees workforce planning, development, and relations; talent recruitment, onboarding, and management; employee engagement, learning, and performance appraisal; compensation, benefits, and policy administration; staffing diversity, equity, and inclusion; and staff wellness, risk mitigation, and retention. The Human Resources Director acts as an internal consultant and partner to company leadership on all human resource issues including those that affect business relationships, performance, and outcomes. The Human Resources Director partners with cross functional leadership to administer an employee-oriented human resource management and organizational culture, providing guidance at the executive leadership level on all labor related matters. The Human Resources Director maintains the human resource information system. The Human Resources Director is part of the company’s senior leadership team and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Development & Engagement Director
The Role
The Director of Development & Engagement reports to the President & CEO and is responsible for driving the organization’s fund development and communications strategy and activities. This position
requires a leader with great initiative, confidence and the skills necessary to convene people and
partners for the benefit of the communities we serve. The person in this position must understand and
connect with the agency’s mission, programs, and impact to be an effective and passionate
leader. Responsibilities include growing existing partnerships; researching and identifying grants,
including larger, multi-dimensional opportunities; conducting appropriate reporting and follow-up; and
donor prospecting, cultivation and stewardship.

Asset Manager
The Role
The Asset Manager performs a variety of complex tasks to ensure the successful performance of Ability Housing, Inc.’s (AHI’s) portfolio of affordable rental housing. This position oversees and manages the economic, financial, physical, and compliance needs of AHI assets. Additionally, this position provides the technical oversight and leads in the majority of analysis to ensure assets’ long-term economic viability and physical longevity. In addition, the position is responsible for ensuring each property fulfills the agency’s mission and strategic vision; including implementation of best practices for Permanent Supportive Housing.
Essential Responsibilities
The Manager is responsible for ensuring properties are operated to provide an environment of respect and opportunity so that all housing is a springboard for residents’ attainment of their household goals.

Property Development Associate
Position Summary
Ability Housing’s vision is a society where housing is a right, not a privilege; and all individuals have safe, affordable housing in vibrant communities. Our mission is to build strong communities where everyone has a home. To achieve these, we develop and operate quality rental housing affordable to households unable to afford market housing, including persons with extremely limited incomes and those that have experienced homelessness. We also administer rental assistance to help chronically homeless households access market housing; and partner with area service organizations to ensure our residents have the supports they require to maintain their housing and increase their self-sufficiency.
Reporting to the Property Development Director, the Property Development Associate is responsible for housing development activities to increase the organization’s community and mission impact, with a focus on long-term sustainability and achievement of the organization’s production and financial goals
