Chief Financial Officer
Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer is the agency senior executive responsible for overseeing and administering the financial operations and finances of Ability Housing. The Chief Financial Officer leads the organization’s financial planning, management, and analysis. The Chief Financial Officer develops and implements sound financial strategies, accounting controls, cash flow monitoring, and fiscal safeguards to ensure Ability Housing’s financial stability, growth, and viability. The Chief Financial Officer supervises the Controller and Senior Accountant. The Chief Financial Officer supervises the Controller and Senior Accountant. The Chief Financial Officer reports to the Chief Executive Officer and serves on the agency’s executive leadership team.

Real Estate Operations Supervisor
Position Summary
The Real Estate Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that each property in Ability Housing’s portfolio is operated in accordance with property management quality standards and optimal efficiency in fulfillment of Ability Housing’s mission and objectives and for the enrichment of residents and communities. The Real Estate Operations Supervisor oversees the organization’s community managers and third-party firms responsible for delivering property management services to all Ability Housing properties. The Real Estate Operations Supervisor ensures an environment of ownership and accountability that encompasses exceptional customer service for residents and Ability Housing. As a liaison, the Real Estate Operations Supervisor works for and represents Ability Housing as the property owner while managing the performance of third-party property management staff in a collaborative manner to achieve desired outcomes. The Real Estate Operations Supervisor reports to the Asset Manager.

Real Estate Development Director
Position Summary
The Real Estate Development Director is the leadership role within the Real Estate Development Department responsible for oversight of all facets of the real estate development process from inception to stabilization. The Real Estate Development Director executes all functions of real estate development with a focus on identifying and pursuing new opportunities; planning, analyzing, and managing project budgets; securing financing; and administering this multi-faceted and multi-tasked process. The Real Estate Development Director guides and manages Department staff, coordinates with interdepartmental leadership and collaborates with external stakeholders to ensure housing production project quality within scheduled timelines, approved budgets, and Ability Housing’s mission-driven expectations. The Real Estate Development Director reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Asset Manager
Position Summary
The Asset Manager performs a variety of complex tasks to ensure the successful performance of Ability Housing, Inc.’s (AHI’s) portfolio of affordable rental housing. This position oversees and manages the economic, financial, physical, and compliance needs of AHI assets. Additionally, this position provides the technical oversight and leads in the majority of analysis to ensure assets’ long-term economic viability and physical longevity. In addition, the position is responsible for ensuring each property fulfills the agency’s mission and strategic vision; including implementation of best practices for Permanent Supportive Housing.
Essential Responsibilities
The Manager is responsible for ensuring properties are operated to provide an environment of respect and opportunity so that all housing is a springboard for residents’ attainment of their household goals.

Real Estate Development Manager
Position Summary
The Real Estate Development Manager is responsible for housing development activities to meet Ability Housing’s housing production and financial goals. The Real Estate Development Manager assists with the day-to-day management of housing projects, including support with sourcing, acquisition, feasibility/due diligence, entitlement/design, engineering, financing, and pre-construction activities. The Real Estate Development Manager plays a lead role in housing development financing. The Real Estate Development Manager is an integral member of the Real Estate Development team, working collegially with all team members. The Real Estate Development Manager supervises the Real Estate Development Administrator and reports to the Real Estate Development Director.
