Tiffany’s Story

Tiffanys-StoryTiffany and her family were one of the earliest to move into Renaissance Village. It has been a long journey for her and her three children. In 2008 financial concerns and loss of her banking job caused them to become homeless.

They lived at Community Connections for two years while Tiffany got her financial life together. In 2010 they were able to move into an Arlington area apartment while Tiffany worked as an AmeriCorps member with the Emergency Services Homeless Coalition.

“I knew about Ability Housing and the work they did. I also knew that I couldn’t spend a lot of money on housing and needed a safe place for my family. With my job at nonprofit Healthy Families, I’m able to afford the rent and live in a nice place.”
